Carson, Giarrusso Earn IMLCA All-Region Honorable Mention Honors

Senior midfielder Quinn Carson and sophomore short stick midfielder Colin Giarrusso of The University of Scranton men's lacrosse team have been named to the 2026 Intercollegiate Men's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IMLCA) All-Region Team, earning honorable mention recognition for the first time in their respective careers.

The duo played pivotal roles in helping lead the Royals to one of the most successful seasons in program history, as Scranton advanced to the NCAA Tournament and finished among the region's top teams.

Carson earned all-region honors following a standout senior campaign in which he served as the focal point of the Royals' offense. A First Team All-Landmark Conference selection, Carson led Scranton with 72 points on 49 goals and a team-best 23 assists while ranking sixth in the conference in scoring. He elevated his play on the national stage, recording hat tricks in both NCAA Tournament contests against Maritime and Bowdoin.
