White of Women's Track and Field Named Finalist for Landmark Conference Female Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year

University of Scranton women's track & field standout Molly White has been named one of four finalists for the Landmark Conference Female Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year award, the conference office announced.

The award recognizes graduating seniors who have excelled in academics, athletics, leadership, and community service throughout their collegiate careers. The overall winner will be selected from the four finalists and submitted for consideration for the Division III Commissioners Association (DIIICA) National Scholar-Athlete of the Year award.

White concludes one of the most decorated careers in program history while maintaining a 3.91 grade point average as a Communications and Philosophy major.

One of the top multi-event athletes in Division III, White played a key role in helping the Royals capture the 2026 Landmark Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championship. During the outdoor season, she earned USTFCCCA All-Region honors and Second Team All-America recognition in the heptathlon after qualifying for the NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships in the event for the second consecutive year.

White won the 2025 All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference (AARTFC) heptathlon title and finished her career with six outdoor All-Landmark Conference selections, including three First Team honors in 2026. She also claimed four individual Landmark Conference championships over the 2025 and 2026 seasons and established a new program record in the heptathlon with 4,850 points earlier this year.

Her success continued during the indoor season, where she earned First Team All-America honors in the pentathlon and was named the 2026 Landmark Conference Indoor Field Performer of the Year. White collected five All-Landmark honors during the 2026 indoor campaign, including two First Team selections, after earning three All-Conference accolades in 2025.

In the classroom, White earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors and was named to the Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll.

Beyond competition and academics, White was heavily involved in leadership and community service initiatives across campus. She volunteered at a local food pantry, served as Service Chair for the KANIA Women in Business Club, and was president of the Rho Tau Eta Communications Honor Society. White also held leadership roles in Student Government as both a senator and Chair of Athletics and Programming.

The Landmark Conference will announce its Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year recipients on Wednesday, July 8.
