Molly White Named D3CA Region V Female Student-Athlete of the Year

Molly White of The University of Scranton has been selected as the Division III Commissioners Association (D3CA) Region V Female Student-Athlete of the Year, becoming the first female student-athlete in Landmark Conference history to receive the regional honor.

White, who was named the 2025-26 Landmark Conference Female Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year, capped her collegiate career with outstanding accomplishments in athletics and academics while making a significant impact through leadership and service.

A Communications major with a minor in Sports Communications, White graduated from Scranton with a 3.91 grade point average. She was recognized as a Dean's Scholar and earned membership in the Alpha Sigma Nu and Rho Tau Eta honor societies.

On the track, White established herself as one of the top multi-event athletes in Landmark Conference history. She earned First Team All-America honors in the pentathlon during the indoor season and Second Team All-America honors in the heptathlon during the outdoor season. She was also named the 2026 Landmark Conference Indoor Field Performer of the Year.

White earned 10 All-Landmark selections during the 2026 indoor and outdoor seasons and set conference records in both the pentathlon with 3,558 points and heptathlon with 4,850 points. She also helped the Royals capture Landmark Conference indoor and outdoor team championships.

Beyond her accomplishments in competition and the classroom, White was a leader across the Scranton campus and community. She completed an internship with the University of Scranton Athletics Department and served as President of the Rho Tau Eta Communications Honor Society, Service Chair of the KANIA Women in Business Club and Chair of Athletics & Programming in Student Government.

White also worked as a broadcaster and track and field social media co-manager for Royal Athletics and volunteered with the University's Center for Service and Social Justice food pantry.

White's selection as the D3CA Region V Female Student-Athlete of the Year adds another prestigious honor to a decorated four-year career at Scranton and makes her the first female student-athlete from the Landmark Conference to earn the regional award.
