The University of Scranton women's track & field team earned recognition as a 2026 U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team, while seven Royals were named USTFCCCA All-Academic Individuals, the organization recently announced.
The Royals were one of the nation's programs recognized with the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team award, which honors teams that achieve excellence both in the classroom and in competition throughout the 2026 track & field season.
Individually, seven members of the Scranton women's track & field team received USTFCCCA All-Academic honors:
To qualify for USTFCCCA All-Academic Individual honors, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.30 and meet at least one of the organization's competitive standards during the indoor or outdoor track & field season.
The USTFCCCA All-Academic Team award recognizes collegiate programs that maintain a cumulative team grade point average of 3.10 or higher while meeting the organization's competitive criteria.
