PIKESVILLE, Md. – Junior Ethan Zawatski (Dallas, Pa./Dallas) won individual medalist honors and The University of Scranton men's golf team won a thrilling Landmark Conference fall preview by tiebreaker on Saturday afternoon at Woodholme Country Club.

The Royals finished with a team score of 331 alongside Goucher and won the tiebreaker over the Gophers due to the best low score of the day. Catholic also finished just one shot behind the Royals and Gophers at 332.

Zawatski shot a 77 (+4) on the day which was tied with Drew's Mike Ford and the former garnered individual medalist accolades due to a lower score on holes 15 thru 18.

Elsewhere for Scranton, senior Nicholas Campanelli (Manahawkin, N.J./Southern Regional) and freshman Danny Harding (Vestal, N.Y./Vestal) both finished in a tie for eighth place with an 84 (+11), while junior Matthew Fleming (Richboro, Pa./Council Rock South) carded an 86 (+13). Rounding things out for the Royals was graduate student Calvin Ralph (Hillsdale, N.J./Pascack Valley) who fired an 87 (+14).

The event concluded an outstanding fall season for the men's golf team in which they went 12-0 in dual matches and have now won 56 dual matches in a row overall dating back to the 2017-18 season.
