DALLAS, Pa. – Freshman Danny Harding (Vestal, N.Y./Vestal) led the way for The University of Scranton men's golf team with a 73 (+1) and the Royals picked up a 55th consecutive win in a dual match with a victory over Misericordia (300-344) on Tuesday afternoon at Irem Temple Country Club in Dallas.
Scranton is now a perfect 11-0 in dual matches this fall.
The 73 marked the lowest round of Harding's brief career at The University. Graduate student Calvin Ralph (Hillsdale, N.J./Pascack Valley) fired a 75 (+3), while seniors Nicholas Campanelli (Manahawkin, N.J./Southern Regional) and John Shaughnessy (Florida, N.Y./S.S. Seward Institute) both shot a 76 (+4).
Freshman Liam Burtis (Binghamton, N.Y./Seton Catholic Central) added a 77 (+5) and senior Eric Odell (Honesdale, Pa./Scranton Prep) rounded out the day for the Royals with an 80 (+8).
Misericordia was led by Colin Bowanko who shot a 78 (+6).
The Royals are right back in action tomorrow when they host Wilkes and Marywood at Glenmaura National Golf Club with tee time slated for 1 p.m.
