SCRANTON, Pa. – Wednesday's season opener between The University of Scranton men's soccer team and King's (Pa.) has been cancelled due to heavy rain throughout the Northeastern Pennsylvania area.

The game will not be rescheduled this season.

Scranton will now open the 2021 campaign on Saturday, Sept. 4 when they host Muhlenberg in non-conference action. Start time at Weiss Field is slated for 1 p.m.
