SCRANTON, Pa. – Senior captains Logan Campbell and Charlie Smith of The University of Scranton men's soccer program were recognized on the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America Teams, as announced Tuesday. Campbell earned First Team honors, while Smith was selected to the Third Team.

Campbell earned First Team Academic All-America honors after a standout season both on the field and in the classroom. A Business Analytics major with a 3.99 grade point average, he was a cornerstone of Scranton's back line during the 2025 season, helping the Royals allow just four goals all year. Earlier this season, Campbell earned All-American, All-Region, and All-Conference honors while being named the 2025 Landmark Conference Defensive Player of the Year. He is also a three-time member of the CSC Academic All-District Team and a 2024 United Soccer Coaches Second Team Scholar All-American.
Smith earned Third Team Academic All-America honors after putting together one of the most impressive seasons by a goalkeeper in Division III. A Finance major with a 3.65 GPA, Smith led the nation in goals-against average and save percentage while anchoring the Royals' defense. He ranked tied for second in the country with 13 shutouts and helped guide Scranton to its first NCAA Tournament victory since 2016. Smith also earned All-American, All-Region, and All-Conference honors this season and is a three-time CSC Academic All-District honoree.
