SHAWNEE on the DELAWARE, Pa. – The University of Scranton men's golf team recorded a sixth place finish at the Landmark Conference Fall Preview that wrapped up action on Sunday at Shawnee Golf Course.
Drew won the team title with a two-day score of 587 (+11), while Scranton recorded a team score of 638 (+62).
Sophomore Jack Novis (Lancaster, Pa./Lancaster Catholic) led the way for the Royals as he shot a 77 (+5) on Sunday for a two-day score of 154 (+10), which was tied for 10th. Junior Danny Harding (Vestal, N.Y./Vestal) carded an 80 (+8) in round two and finished tied for 17th with a 159 (+17).
Rounding things out for the Royals were junior Dillon Falcone (Staten Island, N.Y./Monsignor Farrell) with a two-day score of 162 (+18), junior Mason Hemak (Jermyn, Pa./Scranton Prep) at 163 (+19) and senior Martin Stivala (Dunmore, Pa./Scranton Prep) with a 172 (+28).
The Royals will begin the spring season in March.
