Hershey, PA -- The University of Scranton men's golf team earned the team title with a score of 291 at the Elizabethtown Invitational on Tuesday afternoon hosted at Hershey Country Club.
The Royals started off the fall season strong, beating out 13 other teams to earn the top spot on the day. Sophomore
Jack Novis led the way for Scranton with a career-best 69 (-2) to earn runner-up honors individually.
Junior
Danny Harding fired off a one over round of 72 while sophomore
Gehrig Shannon finished two strokes behind at 74 (+3). Junior
Liam Burtis carded a 76 (+5) while sophomore
Juliano Nieto rounded out the lineup with a 78 (+7).
The men's golf team returns to action on Thursday for a home match against King's at Glemaura National Golf Club at 1:00 PM.
