LEBANON, PA -- In his collegiate debut, freshman
Marshall Kain finished first out of 99 competitors at the Lebanon Valley College Invitational hosted at Lebanon Country Club on Monday afternoon.
The Royals finished second overall as a team out of 20 schools with a total score of 307 (+19). Pitt Greensburg took home the team title with a score of 305 (+17).
Scores
- Kain fired off a 73 (+1) for the low round of the day.Â
- Junior Jack Novis finished one stroke behind Kain at 74 (+2) and claimed second place individually.Â
- Junior Gehrig Shannon shot a 79 (+7) and tied for 23rd overall.
- Senior Liam Burtis and freshman Richard Essen each carded rounds of 81 (+9) to finish tied for 30th.
The men's golf team returns to the course this weekend for the Landmark Fall Preview hosted at Shawnee Golf Course.Â
