SHAWNEE ON DELAWARE, PA -- The University of Scranton men's golf team captured the team title at the Landmark Conference Fall Preview hosted at Shawnee Golf Course on Sunday afternoon.
The Royals posted a team score of 306 (+18) in round two and finished the tournament at 610, beating Drew University (615) by five strokes. Elizabethtown College rounded out the top three at 622. Jason Koch of Moravian University won medalist honors at 146 (+2).Â
Results
- Junior Juliano Nieto paced the Royals with a two-over par round of 74 and finished in fourth place individually at 151 (+7)
- Danny Harding, Liam Burtis, Jack Novis and Gehrig Shannon all finished in a tie for eighth at 155 (+11).
- Novis fired off a 75 (+3).
- Burtis carded a 78 (+6).
- Shannon posted a 79 (+7).Â
- Harding shot an 81 (+9).Â
This concludes the fall season for the men's golf team and they will return to action in the spring of 2025.Â
