After a 51-42 victory over No. 3 seed Elizabethtown in Thursday's semifinal, The No. 2 seed University of Scranton women's basketball team (24-2) is set to head to top-seeded Catholic (25-1) for Saturday's Landmark Conference Championship in Washington, D.C. with opening tip slated for 4 p.m.
Catholic defeated Susquehanna in Thursday's other semifinal matchup by a score of 83-70.
Tickets are on sale now for Saturday's championship game and prices are $7 for adults ages 18+ and $4 for children ages 10-17. Children nine and under as well as Landmark Conference students, faculty and staff with their school ID are admitted free of charge.

The Lady Royals closed out Thursday's game on an 11-1 run over the final 2:54 to help secure a place in the championship game. Sophomore Jenna Sloan (Central Square, N.Y./Bishop Grimes)Â hit a turnaround floater in the lane to give the hosts the lead with 2:54 to play and Scranton's defense held ETown to just one point in the final three plus minutes.
Seniors Maddie Hartnett (Chatham, N.J./Chatham)Â and Maddy Ryan (Malvern, Pa./Villa Maria Academy) tallied 12 points apiece to lead the Lady Royals offensively and freshman Katie Gorski (Pine Brook, N.J./Montville Township)Â added eight points and a career-high 11 boards.
Catholic pulled away in the second half of Thursday's 83-70 victory over Susquehanna behind a double-double from Anna Scoblick (24 points, 10 rebounds) and 19 points from Carly Mulvaney.
This marks the seventh time in 10 seasons that the two teams have met in the Landmark title game with the Lady Royals winning five of the previous six meetings including a 68-51 victory in the 2022 championship clash.
The Cardinals are ranked first in Region V and Scranton is third in the latest NCAA Regional Rankings that were unveiled prior to the semifinals.
Sophomore Kaci Kranson (Scranton, Pa./Holy Cross) leads the Lady Royals and the conference in scoring at 16.4 points per game, while fellow sophomore Kaeli Romanowski (Lake Ariel, Pa./Western Wayne) checks in at 9.4 ppg and Ryan sits at 9.1 ppg.
Hartnett has scored in double figures in three of her last four games and is averaging 10.5 points per contest during that stretch.
Head coach Ben O'Brien's team boasts the top scoring defense in the conference at 46.6 points per game, which ranks fifth in all of Division III.
Catholic holds the top scoring offense in the conference at 76.9 ppg and is led by Keegan Douglas who ranks fourth in the Landmark in scoring at 13.8 ppg. Scoblick is second on the team in scoring with 12.3 ppg and is the team's top rebounder at 7.2 rpg.
