ANNVILLE, PA -- The University of Scranton men's golf team placed third overall out of 17 teams at the Lebanon Valley Invitational on Monday afternoon at Lebanon Country Club.
The Royals posted a team score of 316 (+28) on the day while Albright and Hood tied for first at 311 (+23).Â
Junior
Danny Harding (Vestal, N.Y. / Vestal) fired off a 77 (+5) and finish in a tie for fifth overall. Sophomores
Juliano Nieto (Archbald, Pa. / Holy Cross) and
Jack Novis (Lancaster, Pa. / Lancaster Catholic) each carded rounds of 78 (+6) and tied for ninth individually.
Junior
Liam Burtis (Binghamton, N.Y. / Seton Catholic Central) shot an 83 (+11) to tie for 29th while sophomore
Gehrig Shannon (Bernardsville, N.J. / Saint Peter's Prep) rounded out the lineup for Scranton with an 85 (+13) and tied for 40th.Â
The men's golf team returns to action on Monday, April 8 for a tri-match at Glenmaura National Golf Club against King's and Misericordia.Â
