Box Score CARLISLE, PA -- The University of Scranton men's lacrosse team (14-8) fell in the second round of the NCAA Tournament to No. 4 Dickison (17-2) by a final score of 10-3 on Saturday afternoon at Biddle Field Complex.

Dickinson went up early, scoring the first four goals of the game in the opening 10 minutes. Scranton responded at the 2:15 mark of the first period as freshman
Myles McCutcheon (Ridgewood, N.J. / Ridgewood) scored the opening goal of the game for the Royals off an assist from senior
Joe Boyle (Huntington, N.Y. / St. Anthony's). Sophomore
Pat McCormack (Livingston, N.J. / Livingston) cut Dickinson's lead to two as he scored on a man-up goal with 18 seconds left in the first quarter. Fellow sophomore
Jason Kozak (Floral Park, / N.Y. Floral Park Memorial) picked up the assist on McCormack's goal.Â
The Red Devils scored the lone goal of the second period at the 7:21 mark to hold a 5-2 advantage at halftime.Â
Dickinson went on another 4-0 run to start the second half and held the Royals scoreless in the third period to hold a 9-2 lead headed into the fourth quarter. The Red Devils made it 10-2 at the 6:20 mark of the final period. Junior
Liam Sayre (Ramsey, N.J. / Don Bosco Prep) scored a goal in the final minute of action for Scranton and the game ended with a final score of 10-3 in favor of Dickinson.Â

Declan Allen (Garden City, N.Y. / Millbrook) made 14 saves in goal for the Royals. Dickinson won the face off battle 10-4.Â
