BETHLEHEM, PA -- The University of Scranton men's golf team won by 18 strokes at the Weyhill Classic hosted by Moravian University at Saucon Valley Country Club on Monday afternoon.
The Royals finished with a team score of 296 on the challenging Weyhill Course that played nearly 7,000 yards from the tips. Albright College took second at 314, while Drew University finished third at 320.Â

- Junior Jack Novis posted an impressive round of 70 (-1) to earn medalist honors.Â
- Junior Gehrig Shannon finished second overall with a round of 71 (E).Â
- Senior Liam Burtis fired off a 76 (+5) and earned fifth individually.Â
- Senior Danny Harding and junior Juliano Nieto finished in a tie for tenth at 79 (+8).Â
The men's golf team returns to action on September 23rd for a tri-match against King's and Misericordia at Glenmaura National Golf Club.Â
