WILLIAMSPORT, PA -- The University of Scranton men's golf team carded a 300 (+16) and holds a tie for 13th after the opening day at the D3 Elite Invitational hosted at Williampsort Country Club.

Trinity (CT) leads the team standings at 282 (-2).

• Senior Danny Harding fired off a 72 (+1) and is tied for 19th individually to lead the way for Scranton. 
• Junior Gehrig Shannon posted a 74 (+3) and is tied for 42nd.
• Senior Liam Burtis and junior Jack Novis each carded rounds of 77 (+6) and are tied for 70th. 
• Junior Juliano Nieto rounded out the lineup for Scranton with a 79 (+8) and is tied for 88th.

Second round action from the D3 Elite Invitational gets underway tomorrow morning at 10:00 AM.
