SCRANTON, Pa. – Three members of The University of Scranton women's soccer program were recognized on the 2025 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III Scholar All-East Region Teams, as announced by the organization. Jenna Borelli earned First Team honors, while Makenzie Van Arsdale and Morgan Griffin were selected to the Second Team.

Borelli earned First Team Scholar All-East Region honors after leading the Royals offensively during the 2025 season. A Nursing major with a 3.46 grade point average, she paced Scranton with 20 points on eight goals and four assists, emerging as one of the team's top attacking threats while excelling academically.
Griffin was selected to the Second Team Scholar All-East Region following a strong all-around campaign. A Business Administration major with a 3.53 GPA, she ranked second on the team with 13 points, recording four goals and five assists, and provided consistent production in the midfield throughout the season.
Van Arsdale also earned Second Team Scholar All-East Region recognition after an outstanding season in goal. A Nursing major carrying a 3.56 GPA, she ranked 14th nationally in goals-against average and tied for seventh in shutouts, anchoring a Royals defense that finished tied for third in the nation in shutout percentage.
The United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-Region program recognizes student-athletes who demonstrate excellence both academically and athletically. The three selections highlight the continued success of Scranton women's soccer both on the field and in the classroom.
