SCRANTON, Pa. – The University of Scranton softball team has announced its 2026 schedule, highlighted by a challenging non-conference lineup, a full Landmark Conference slate, and 20 home games at Magis Field.
Scranton opens the year on the road with a doubleheader at Muhlenberg on Feb. 28. The Royals then return home for a busy opening weekend, hosting Ithaca for a pair on Mar. 7 before welcoming Union for a doubleheader on Mar. 8. York College visits Scranton on Mar. 11 for a midweek doubleheader to close out the early home stretch.
Scranton will travel to Myrtle Beach from Mar. 14–19 for its spring break trip to the Fastpitch Dreams Spring Classic, where the Royals will compete in eight games. Further details on this tournament will be released in the coming months.
Landmark Conference play begins Mar. 21 with a home doubleheader against Juniata. The Royals then head across town to face Marywood on Mar. 26 before continuing league action with home matchups against Elizabethtown on Mar. 28. The schedule also includes Landmark road series at Catholic on Apr. 2, Wilkes on Apr. 7, Drew on Apr. 18, and Susquehanna on Apr. 25.
Additional home contests include doubleheaders against King's on Apr. 6, Misericordia on Apr. 9, Lycoming on Apr. 11, Moravian on Apr. 15, and Lebanon Valley on Apr. 21.
The postseason is scheduled for May 5–10 with the Landmark Conference Tournament, with site details to be announced.
With a strong slate of regional opponents, a lengthy home schedule, and competitive Landmark matchups throughout the spring, Scranton is positioned for an exciting 2026 campaign on the diamond.
