HUNTINGDON, PA. - The University of Scranton women's lacrosse team cruised to a 17-4 victory over Juniata College in its first Landmark Conference game of the season on Sunday afternoon in Huntingdon, Pa.

How it Happened
- Senior Grace Lane got the scoring started for the Royals, recording her 13th goal of the season at the 11:36 mark after receiving a pass from graduate student Erin Reich to give Scranton a 1-0 lead.
- Scranton scored its second goal of the game just 20 seconds later when freshman Grace DiDominica connected with Lane in traffic who bounced a shot into the back of the net for her second goal of the game.
- Grace DiDominica got in on the scoring at the 10:20 mark as Reich found the freshman on a cross-field pass and she ripped the shot past Juniata goalie Mikayla Bodley to extend the lead to 3-0.
- With 9:33 left in the first, sophomore Eileen Hewitt connected with classmate Jillian Lopez who ripped her first goal of the day to make it 4-0. Reich then made it 5-0 with a free position goal 1:37 later.
- Juniata scored its first goal of the game with 4:42 left to go in the first quarter, but Scranton answered just 38 seconds later when junior Jessica McCabe scored a free position goal.
- Lane scored her third of the game on a free position shot 5:56 into the second period.
- Scranton scored its eighth goal of the game at the 4:52 mark in the second as Lopez hit a cutting Nora Ryan and the freshman buried the shot on the run for her first career goal.
- With 2:50 left in the half, Reich connected with senior Catherine McGlynn who caught the pass in traffic, turned and ripped the shot into the net. The Eagles responded 12 seconds later to cut the Royals' lead to 9-2, but the Royals won the draw control and immediately answered as freshman Amelia Price drove toward goal, gave to Lopez who quickly found Lane who scored her fourth goal of the game to make it 10-2
- To begin the third quarter, McGlynn rolled a shot past Bodley and into the net for her second goal of the day just 58 seconds into the period. A couple of minutes later, Lane, assisted by senior Shannon DiDominica, scored her fifth of the day to make it 12-2 Scranton.
- With 8:21 to go in the third quarter, Hewitt connected with junior Delaney Wozniak, who spun around and bounced the shot in for her first goal of the year. Then, with just 30 seconds left in the period, freshman Natalie Paul connected with Shannon DiDominica over the middle, who drilled the shot to make it 14-2.
- Grace DiDominica scored her second goal of the game 1:12 into the fourth quarter on a free position shot. Juniata responded at the 11:20 mark, cutting Scranton's lead to 15-3.
- McGlynn scored her third goal of the day at the 8:48 mark in the fourth, rolling a shot into the net. Juniata answered at the 2:55 mark, making it a 16-7 game.
- With just 35 seconds left to go in the game, Wozniak scored her second of the day on a free position shot as Scranton went on to win 17-4.
