The University of Scranton women's lacrosse team was ranked 25th in the final 2025 IWLCA Division III Coaches Poll as announced by the organization on Tuesday.
Middlebury captured its fourth straight national title and topped the poll with a 21-1 record, while Tufts (21-2), Colby (17-4), Gettysburg (19-4) and Salisbury (16-5) round out the rest of the top five.
Scranton earned its third straight Landmark Conference Championship and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the second consecutive year in 2025. The Royals earned a victory in the first round of the NCAA Playoffs for the second straight season as they took down MIT, 12-10, before falling to the eventual national runner-up in Tufts University in the second round.
Scranton notably defeated No. 18 Rowan in a 12-11 overtime thriller on Mar. 26 and earned a victory over No. 23 Ithaca in a 12-10 contest on Mar. 9 en route to a 15-6 record in 2025.
