SCRANTON, Pa. -- Ben O'Brien was named WHoopDirt.com Division III Coach of the Week after leading the No. 2 ranked University of Scranton women's basketball team to two dominant road victories and continuing its undefeated start to the season.

Scranton opened the week with an 80-28 win at Wilkes University on Wednesday, holding the hosts to 17.5% shooting from the field. The Lady Royals followed with a 93-46 victory at Goucher College on Friday after building a 51-14 halftime lead.

Now 17-0 overall and 10-0 in Landmark Conference play, Scranton has recorded eight wins of 40 points or more this season and has won all but one game by double digits.

Earlier this season, O'Brien earned his 100th career victory in a 30-point win over Catholic University. The Lady Royals return home tonight to host Drew University at 7:00 p.m.
