SCRANTON, PA -- Sophomore Grace DiDominica scored the game-winning goal with just 3.3 seconds left in the game as the No. 25 University of Scranton women's lacrosse team upset No. 6 Franklin & Marshall, 8-7, on Saturday afternoon at Weiss Field.

How it Happened
- Franklin & Marshall jumped out to a fast start, scoring the game's first three goals in the opening five minutes to take a 3-0 lead.
- With 5:12 remaining in the first quarter, Eileen Hewitt finished a pass from Jessica McCabe to cut the deficit to two. Senior goalkeeper Eva Guerino closed the period with a pair of saves, sending the Royals into the second quarter trailing 3-1.
- Hewitt pulled Scranton within one just 15 seconds into the second, converting a free-position attempt to make it 3-2.
- Two minutes after Myranda Beebe netted her second goal for the Diplomats, Hewitt answered with her third of the game to trim Franklin & Marshall's lead to 4-3. Neither team found the back of the net the rest of the half, and the score held into the break.
- The Diplomats pushed their lead to 5-3 just 1:46 into the third quarter on a goal by Blane Cosby.
- Scranton responded quickly, as Jillian Lopez netted her first goal of the game at the 1:28 mark to pull the Royals back within one.
- Two minutes later, Scranton evened the score at 5-5 as Alexandra Back converted a free-position attempt for her first career goal at the 9:18 mark. Both defenses held firm the rest of the quarter, sending the game into the final period tied at five.
- Sophie Harris put the Diplomats back in front with 10:35 remaining on her first goal of the game, but after winning the ensuing draw control, Lopez went straight to goal and scored to tie it at 6-6 with 10:02 left.
- While Guerino made a pair of saves in the period, Beebe slipped one past her with 3:05 remaining to give Franklin & Marshall a 7-6 lead.
- Scranton answered quickly again, as Hewitt controlled the draw and Natalie Paul finished a pass from DiDominica to tie the game at 7-7 with 1:58 remaining in the game.
- Although the Diplomats controlled the ensuing draw after Paul's goal, Scranton forced a turnover and, during the clear attempt, Chrissy Trescavage used a timeout with 1:14 left to organize the Royals' final possession. As the clock wound down, Hewitt found DiDominica on the doorstep for the go-ahead goal with just 3.3 seconds remaining, sealing a dramatic 8-7 upset over No. 6 Franklin & Marshall.
