SCRANTON, Pa. -- Senior goalie Eva Guerino and sophomore attacker Grace DiDominica were named Landmark Athletes of the Week after helping lead the Royals to a ranked win against No. 6 Franklin and Marshall College this weekend to improve to 1-1 on the 2025 season.
Guerino had a big weekend for the Royals, anchoring their defensive efforts with a standout performance. She recorded eight saves while allowing just seven goals against one of the top offenses in the country. This recognition marks the second time in Guerino's career that she has been named Landmark Defensive Athlete of the Week.
DiDominica led the Royals to the ranked win by scoring the game-winning goal with only three seconds left in a tied game on Saturday. The Oceanside, N.Y., native tallied one goal and one assist to cap off the weekend, emphasizing her ability to perform under pressure. This marks the first time in her career that DiDominica has been named Landmark Conference Offensive Athlete of the Week.
The Royals are back in action this weekend with a game against York College of Pennsylvania on Wednesday, Feb. 25 at 5:00 PM at Weiss Field in Scranton, Pa.
