SCRANTON, Pa. - Senior Olivia Miller of The University of Scranton women's track and field team earned Landmark Conference Track Athlete of the Week honors following her record-setting performance at the Marc Deneault Invitational this weekend.
This marks the first time in her career that she earned the award.
Miller continued her strong indoor campaign by setting both a program and Landmark Conference record in the 500 meters with a time of 1:16.88, placing second in the event. Earlier in the day, Scranton's Molly White had set the mark at 1:17.16 before Miller beat it by 0.28 seconds.
The Royals return to action this weekend for the Landmark Conference Championships at Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove.
