SCRANTON, PA – Jillian Lopez's seven goal performance leads the No. 25 University of Scranton women's lacrosse team past No. 18 Haverford College, 13-8, at Weiss Field on Saturday afternoon.

How it Happened
- Haverford opened the scoring just 53 seconds into the game to take a 1-0 lead.
- Lopez finished a pass from Natalie Paul to tie the game at 1-1 with 9:19 remaining in the period, and with 6:29 left in the first, Eileen Hewitt scored to give Scranton its first lead at 2-1.
- Lopez netted two goals less than two minutes apart to extend Scranton's advantage to 4-1 with 3:07 to play in the opening period.
- Haverford responded with a 4-0 run over the first nine minutes of the second quarter to regain the lead at 5-4, its first lead since the opening minutes.
- Colleen Mullin took a feed from Allyson Flynn and scored her first goal since 2024 to tie the game at five with 5:10 left in the half.
- The Fords answered to go back in front, 6-5, at the 2:51 mark, but Lopez closed the half with a free position goal to even the score at 6-6.
- Lopez opened the third quarter the same way she ended the second, converting a free position attempt to give Scranton a 7-6 lead on her fifth goal of the game.
- Haverford answered less than a minute later to tie the game at 7-7 and then took an 8-7 lead at the 8:49 mark.

- Grace DiDominica scored Scranton's 10th goal at the 9:38 mark, assisted by Jessica McCabe. Two minutes later, McCabe finished a pass from Mullin to make it 11-8.
- Lopez added her seventh goal of the game with 4:57 remaining, and Hewitt recorded her third goal one minute later to extend the lead to 13-8.
- Scranton's defense limited Haverford to just two goals in the second half and none in the fourth quarter, as the Royals secured a 13-8 victory.
