The University of Scranton women's basketball team placed four student-athletes on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, recognizing their success both on the court and in the classroom.
Elizabeth Bennett, a junior Kinesiology major with a 3.69 GPA, appeared in all 33 games this season while making one start.
Kaci Kranson, a senior Criminal Justice major, posted a 3.68 GPA and started all 33 games for the Royals. Kranson was also named a CSC Academic All-America finalist, with selections set to be announced on April 15.
Meghan Lamanna, an junior Occupational Therapy major with a 3.72 GPA, appeared in 32 games with 30 starts.
Kaeli Romanowski, a senior Finance major, led the group with a 3.97 GPA while starting all 33 games. Romanowski was also selected as a CSC Academic All-America finalist, with selections to be announced on April 15.
The CSC Academic All-District honor recognizes student-athletes for their combined excellence in academics and competition, highlighting the dedication required to succeed in both areas.
