The University of Scranton women's lacrosse team defeated Catholic University, 10-4, on Saturday afternoon at Carlini Field in Washington, D.C.

- Scranton came out strong, scoring the first nine goals of the game, including four in the opening quarter. Grace DiDominica took a pass from Eileen Hewitt and found the back of the net just 1:41 into the game to give Scranton a 1-0 lead.Â
- With 7:14 remaining in the first quarter, Hewitt set up Alexandra Back for a player-up goal to make it 2-0. Just 1:14 later, Back returned the favor, assisting on DiDominica's second goal of the period.Â
- Scranton closed the quarter with an Allyson Flynn free-position goal at the 2:52 mark, extending the lead to 4-0 heading into the second.Â
