The University of Scranton women's lacrosse team begins postseason play on Wednesday as the top-seeded Royals host No. 4 seed Susquehanna University in the Landmark Conference semifinals. The opening draw is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. at Weiss Field in Scranton.

Scranton enters the semifinal matchup with a 13-4Â overall record and a perfect 9-0 mark in Landmark Conference play to secure the top seed in the tournament. The Royals also enter the postseason looking to capture the program's fourth straight Landmark Conference title. Susquehanna comes into the contest at 10-8Â overall and 6-3Â in conference action and advanced to the semifinals after earning a 12-7Â victory over No. 5Â seed Drew University in Saturday's first-round matchup.
The Royals and River Hawks met earlier this season at Sassafras field in Selinsgrove, where Scranton earned a 14-7 victory.
Wednesday's semifinal will determine who advances to Saturday's Landmark Conference Championship game, with Scranton looking to continue its unbeaten run through conference play and move one step closer to another conference championship.
