University of Scranton women's track and field seniors Molly White and Sam Sharrow closed out the 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships with strong performances on Thursday and Friday in Wisconsin.
White earned Second Team All-America honors in the heptathlon after finishing 10th overall against the nation's top competitors. The senior capped off her standout collegiate career with another impressive national performance, highlighted by a first-place finish in the 800-meter run with a program-record time of 2:13.65.
White posted the following finishes during the two-day heptathlon competition:
- 100m Hurdles – 15.10 (13th)
- High Jump – 1.53m (13th)
- Shot Put – 8.89m (21st)
- 200m – 26.28 (13th)
- Long Jump – 5.38m (10th)
- Javelin – 30.78m (13th)
- 800m – 2:13.65 (1st, program record)
Sharrow represented the Royals in the long jump and finished 19th overall with a mark of 5.30 meters at the national championships.
The NCAA appearance capped a historic season for the Royals, as White and Sharrow each competed on the national stage after setting program records earlier this spring and leading Scranton to its first ever Landmark Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championship.Â
