Rising seniors Brendan Carr and Nick Ruisi of The University of Scranton men's basketball team have been selected to represent USA DIII Basketball on its summer tour of Brazil.

Carr and Ruisi were chosen by USA Sports Tours & Events to compete alongside some of the top NCAA Division III men's basketball student-athletes from across the country. The two are currently in Brazil, where they are taking part in international competition while representing both the United States and The University of Scranton.

The tour features two USA DIII Basketball teams, the Blue Team and the Red Team, made up of standout Division III players who have earned recognition at the national, regional, and conference levels. The student-athletes selected represent colleges and universities from across the country and will compete against international competition while experiencing Brazilian culture.

The international tour provides participants with the opportunity to compete at a high level, develop their game, and serve as ambassadors for Division III basketball abroad.
