ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Senior Robert Leavy (Bronx, N.Y./Iona Preparatory)
earned a decision at 157 pounds and The University of Scranton
wrestling team took advantage of seven forfeits to post a 45-9
victory over Muhlenberg on Saturday afternoon.
Leavy posted a 5-0 decision over Mules freshman Quinn Puryear
(Baltimore, Md./Dulaney) to improve to 3-5 on the season.
Scranton (2-3) picked up five straight forfeits from 165 through
285 pounds to seal the victory over Muhlenberg (0-1).
The Royals will break for the holidays and return to action on
Saturday, Jan. 5, when travel to New York City to face New York
University, Hunter College and Southern Maine.
