The University of Scranton men's soccer team has earned the United Soccer Coaches' (USC) Team Academic Award for a 10th straight year as announced by the organization this week.
The Team Academic Award recognizes programs with a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.0 for the entire academic year. A total of 312 men's soccer programs across all three divisions were honored by the organization.
Scranton posted a 3.27 team GPA for the 2022-23 academic year and saw 14 student-athletes recognized on the Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll.
This marks the 14th time in program history that the Royals have received the award, which was established in 1996 under the previous name of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).
