Scranton concluded its remarkable campaign with a 13-1-6 overall record, highlighted by an unbeaten regular season and the program's first NCAA Tournament victory since 2016. The Royals' consistent success throughout the fall established them as one of the nation's premier programs in Division III.
Defensively, Scranton set the national standard in 2025, finishing the season as the top defensive unit in the country. The Royals allowed just four goals all season, a new program record, while setting multiple additional defensive milestones under the direction of head coach Andy Loughnane.
The final national ranking marks another significant achievement for the program and reflects a season defined by discipline, consistency, and elite defensive play on a national stage.
