SCRANTON, Pa. – The University of Scranton men's soccer program added two more national honors to its historic 2025 season on Thursday, as Logan Campbell was selected to the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III All-America First Team and Charlie Smith earned a spot on the All-America Third Team.
United Soccer Coaches Release
Scranton was one of just a handful of programs nationwide to produce multiple All-Americans this year, highlighting the dominance of a Royals squad that allowed just four goals in 20 matches, went unbeaten in Landmark Conference play, and featured one of the strongest defensive units in Division III.
Logan Campbell – First Team All-American (Defender)
Campbell becomes the fifth First Team All-American in program history, adding another milestone to a decorated career that already includes being a two-time First Team All-Region selection, three-time All-Conference honoree and the 2025 Landmark Conference Defensive Player of the Year.
He anchored a defensive unit that conceded just four total goals, including none in Landmark regular-season play, while logging more than 1,700 minutes as Scranton's defensive leader. Campbell also contributed one goal and consistently dictated the Royals' organization and stability from the back line.
Charlie Smith – Third Team All-American (Goalkeeper)
Smith earns Third Team All-America honors after delivering one of the best goalkeeping seasons in NCAA Division III. The senior led the nation in both goals-against average (0.21) and save percentage (.917), while recording 13 solo shutouts and helping Scranton finish with 17 total clean sheets.
Across 1,749 minutes played, Smith allowed just four goals all season and served as the backbone of a defensive unit that went unscored upon in Landmark regular-season play. He also earned First Team All-Region and First Team All-Landmark honors earlier this postseason.
Campbell and Smith become the latest Royals to receive national recognition, further solidifying Scranton's place among the premier defensive programs in Division III.
