LEBANON, Pa. -– Freshman Brayden Clarke (Factoryville, Pa./Lackawanna Trail) and senior Liam Fahey (Ridgewood, N.J./Ridgewood) clocked Top-20 finishes to lead The University of Scranton men's cross country team at the Dutchmen Invitational Saturday morning.
Clarke finished 12th with a time of 26:33:5 and Fahey followed in 18th in 26:56:6 at the 8k course.
Senior Justin Knab (Lawrence Township, N.J./Lawrence) finished 22nd with a time of 27:17:7, and classmates Tanner Updyke (Guilford, Conn./Guilford) and Christian Snee (Olyphant, Pa./Mid Valley) finished 29th and 32nd respectively to round out the top five for the Royals.
Scranton finished fifth out of 17 teams with 119 points.
The Royals will be back in action Saturday, Sept. 28 at the Lock Haven Invitational.
