Senior Annie Shaw of The University of Scranton field hockey team has been named the Landmark Conference Offensive Athlete of the Week, announced Monday by the conference office.

Shaw was dominant in leading the Royals to a pair of decisive Landmark Conference victories last week, totaling four goals across the two matches — including the first hat trick of her career.

In Wednesday's 5–0 win over Moravian, Shaw scored three times, finding the back of the cage in each of the first three quarters to complete the hat trick and pace the Royals' fifth straight conference victory. She continued her strong play on Saturday, scoring Scranton's opening goal in a 7–0 win over Juniata as the Royals extended their Landmark win streak to six.

Over the two-game stretch, Shaw recorded four goals on six shots, helping Scranton outscore its opponents 12–0 while improving to 12–3 overall and 6–0 in Landmark Conference play.

Shaw and the Royals return to action on Wednesday night with a 7 p.m. Landmark Conference matchup at Wilkes in Wilkes-Barre, Pa.
