CLARK, NJ -- Led by a dominant first-place finish from sophomore Brayden Clarke, The University of Scranton men's cross country team took first place at the Oak Ridge invitational on Friday.
Clarke crossed the line in 16:16.88, finishing over 20 seconds ahead of the next competitor. The Royals packed in early and often, claiming four of the top five spots and placing seven runners in the top ten, en route to a commanding team victory.
Scranton's scoring five combined for a total time of 1:24:40.70, averaging 16:56.14 per runner over the 5K course.
