The University of Scranton field hockey team had two players earn Landmark Conference weekly honors on Monday, as Maggie Keys was named Offensive Athlete of the Week and Ruby Sorber was selected as Defensive Athlete of the Week.

Sorber and Keys helped lead Scranton to a pair of Landmark Conference victories over Lycoming and Elizabethtown this week, as the Royals improved to 10-2 overall and 4-0 in conference play. The team also climbed to No. 19 in the latest NCAA Division III NPI Rankings.

Keys paced the Royals offensively, totaling four goals and an assist across the two victories. The Centerport, N.Y., native recorded a hat trick in Tuesday night's win over Lycoming before contributing a goal and an assist in Saturday's shutout victory against Elizabethtown. She currently ranks second in the Landmark Conference in both points and assists while sitting third in goals. The honor marks the first Landmark Conference Athlete of the Week selection of her career.

Sorber earned Landmark Conference Defensive Athlete of the Week recognition for the third straight week after another strong performance in goal. She recorded 105 minutes of action without conceding a goal, maintaining the shutout through three quarters against Lycoming before exiting at the start of the fourth. She then turned aside six shots in Saturday's 5-0 victory over Elizabethtown to secure another clean sheet. Sorber leads the Landmark Conference with a 0.86 goals-against average, four shutouts and an .823 save percentage. Nationally, she ranks 11th in goals-against average and 19th in save percentage.

The Royals return to action Tuesday night when they travel to Moravian University for a Landmark Conference matchup scheduled for 7 p.m.
