The University of Scranton women's track and field team competed against a talented field spanning all three NCAA divisions at the Susquehanna Multi, highlighted by a pair of standout performances from senior Molly White and junior Rachael Johns.
Competing in the Orange group, White delivered a record-breaking performance in the heptathlon, winning the overall competition with 4,850 points. The senior surpassed her own program record by over 100 points and added another mark to the record book with a school-record time of 15.09 in the 100-meter hurdles.
White showcased her all-around dominance with first-place finishes in the 800 meters (2:17.21) and javelin throw (35.66m), while also earning runner-up finishes in both the 100-meter hurdles and 200 meters (26.16). She added a third-place showing in the long jump (5.31m) and cleared 1.58 meters in the high jump as part of her winning effort.
In the Maroon group, Johns put together an impressive performance of her own, finishing third overall with 3,797 points. The junior led her group in both the 100-meter hurdles (16.25) and javelin throw (27.93m), while also placing third in the high jump (1.45m). She added strong marks in the long jump (4.83m) and 800 meters (2:42.09) to secure a podium finish.
