The Landmark Conference has named University of Scranton women's track & field student-athlete Molly White the 2025-26 Landmark Conference Senior Scholar-Athlete, recognizing her outstanding accomplishments in academics, athletics, leadership, and community service.
The award is presented annually to one senior student-athlete in each sport who exemplifies excellence both in competition and in the classroom. Honorees must maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.20 and are selected by a committee comprised of Landmark Conference officers, athletics directors, senior woman administrators, faculty athletic representatives, athletic communications professionals, and diversity, equity, and inclusion designees.
A communications and philosophy major with a 3.91 cumulative grade point average, White capped one of the most accomplished careers in program history during the 2025-26 academic year.
White helped lead the Royals to the 2026 Landmark Conference team championship while capturing four individual conference titles across the 2025 and 2026 seasons. During her career, she totaled 11 All-Conference honors and earned U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Region recognition in 2026.
Among her top accomplishments, White won the 2025 All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Conference (AARTFC) Outdoor Heptathlon Championship and qualified for the 2025 NCAA Outdoor Championships in the heptathlon. She also qualified for the 2026 NCAA Outdoor Championships after posting 4,850 points in the heptathlon earlier this season, ranking seventh nationally in Division III.
In the classroom, White earned College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors in 2024 and was a member of the Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll.
Beyond athletics and academics, White was deeply involved across campus and in the local community. She volunteered at a local food pantry, served as Service Chair for the KANIA Women in Business Club, was president of the Rho Tau Eta Communications Honor Society, and held leadership roles in Student Government as both a senator and Chair of Athletics and Programming.
