University of Scranton women's track and field senior Sam Sharrow has been named Landmark Conference Track Athlete of the Week after delivering a standout, record-breaking performance at the Coach Pollard Invitational.
The honor marks the second time in her career that Sharrow has earned the conference's weekly award. She led the field with an impressive three medal showing, highlighted by a new conference and program record in the 100-meter prelims, where she clocked a time of 12.04 seconds.
Sharrow also played a key role in the 4x100-meter relay team's success, helping the group secure a first-place finish with a time of 47.86 seconds. She capped off the weekend by earning a second-place finish in the long jump, recording a mark of 5.60 meters to round out her all-around performance.
