Kyrianna Nemitz and Emily Hopkins of The University of Scranton women's track and field team earned top-10 finishes in the 5000m race at the Widener Final Qualifier on Monday evening.

Nemitz placed eighth overall with a run of 17:09.84 while Hopkins clocked in at 17:11.41 for a new personal best and a new top-70 time in all of Division III. 

The Royals will return to action on May 13-14 for the AARTFC Outdoor Championships at Ursinus College.
