The University of Scranton track and field teams wrapped up competition at the AARTFC Regional Championships hosted by Ursinus College on May 13-14 with several strong performances and multiple program records.
For the women, Sam Sharrow led the way with a pair of standout performances. Sharrow finished second in the long jump and broke her own school record with a mark of 5.80 meters. The mark currently ranks tied for 15th nationally in Division III.
Sharrow also helped power Scranton's 4x100-meter relay team to a runner-up finish. The quartet of Samantha Solar, Sharrow, Kaia Grantham and Jocelyn Smith crossed the line in 47.60.
In the 4x400-meter relay, Sharrow teamed with Olivia Miller, Smith and Tasia Miniotis to place sixth while setting a new program record with a time of 3:51.70.
Rachael Johns recorded a personal-best score of 3,892 points to finish ninth in the heptathlon, while Peyton Fox delivered two top-eight finishes in the throwing events. Fox placed fifth in the hammer throw with a mark of 49.79 meters and broke her own school record in the discus with a seventh-place throw of 42.03 meters.
On the track, Miller added an eighth-place finish in the 400 meters with a time of 57.43, while Callie Gorman turned in a personal-best performance in the 10,000 meters, placing eighth in 38:44.95.
For the men, Brayden Clarke placed 11th in the 1,500 meters with a time of 4:04.23, while Robert Casey recorded a personal-best time of 2:00.39 to finish 24th in the 800 meters.

- The Royals will now await selections for the 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field National Championships. Selections for the national meet will be announced Friday, May 15, through a press release on NCAA.com. Qualifying marks recorded between March 1 and May 14 will be considered for selection.
- Sharrow is tied for 15th nationally in the long jump, while Molly White ranks sixth in Division III in the heptathlon. The top 22 declared student-athletes in each individual event are accepted to the outdoor national championships.
