LEXINGTON, Ky. – Senior middle hitter Eryn Boken (South Pasadena, Calif./Westridge School for Girls) of The University of Scranton volleyball team was selected as an American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Honorable Mention All-American as announced by the organization on Tuesday afternoon.
Boken is the third player in program history to garner All-American accolades following Julia Crilly in 2014 and Kristin Kirwan in 2017.
The South Pasadena, Calif., native slammed home 277 kills on the season and led the conference in service aces per set (0.66), while ranking fourth in both hitting percentage (.313) and blocks per set (0.94). Boken's 72 service aces are the sixth most in a single season in program history, while her 76 block assists are tied for 10th most and the .313 hitting percentage is 12th best.
On the year, the senior middle hitter recorded double-digit kills 12 times including a career-best 15 in matches against Ithaca and Eastern.
It has been a busy awards season for Boken who was also named as an All-Landmark First team performer and an AVCA All-Region selection.
She was one of six individuals from the Landmark Conference to earn All-American honors along with Olivia Foley, Victoria Taylor and Kiona Sky Rousset-Hernandez (Juniata) and Rosina Esposito and Lizzie Herestofa (Susquehanna).

Boken helped lead the Royals to a 25-8 record on the season and the program's first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2005.
