PREVIEW - Women's Lacrosse Heads to ETown for Landmark Conference Battle on Saturday

The University of Scranton women's lacrosse team (4-1, 4-1 Landmark) hits the road to battle the ETown Blue Jays (1-4, 1-4 Landmark) on Saturday afternoon. Opening draw at Wolf Field in Elizabethtown is slated for 1 p.m.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, visiting team fans will not be allowed to attend Saturday's game. However, fans will still be able to follow all the action for the Royals.

  • Saturday's game and all games throughout the season will be streamed on the Landmark Conference Digital Network.

Royals News & Notes

  • Five different players registered multi-goal games as the Royals improved to 4-1 on the year with a 14-7 win over Moravian on Wednesday.
  • Senior Jill Henson (Baldwinsville, N.Y./Christian Brothers Academy) and freshman Erin Reich (Rockville Centre, N.Y./South Side) both registered three goals and an assist for Scranton, while freshman Tara Kotten (New City, N.Y./Clarkstown South) added two goals and two assists in the victory.
  • Henson and Reich lead the team with 16 goals, which is also tied for fourth in the Landmark Conference.
  • Junior Jaclyn McCusker (River Edge, N.J./River Dell) scored a goal and added three draw controls, two caused turnovers and a ground ball in the win. Classmate Emily Schum (East Hanover, N.J./Morris Catholic) recorded four ground balls, three caused turnovers and two draw controls, while senior Lauren Devlin (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks West) tallied 11 saves in goal for the Royals.
  • Schum is tied for second in the conference in caused turnovers and third in draw controls on the season, while Devlin ranks in the top five in multiple goalie statistical categories.
