Scranton Women's Lacrosse Ranked No. 25 in IWLCA Preseason Poll

The University of Scranton women's lacrosse team begins the 2026 season at No. 25 in the IWLCA preseason poll.

The Royals finished the 2025 season with a 15-6 record, securing their third straight Landmark Conference championship and an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. Scranton defeated MIT 12-10 in the first round before falling to the eventual national runner-up in Tufts University in the second round.

Scranton led the Landmark with 15 wins and an 8.41 goals against average, while finishing second in the conference with 14.19 goals per game. The Royals rolled through Landmark play, going undefeated at 9-0 and beating all conference opponents by 10 or more goals in every game, including the Landmark Semifinals against Susquehanna and the Landmark Championship against Catholic.
